TPACK model

Image
The TPACK ( Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) model is a framework that describes the integration of technology into teachings in a meaningful and effective way. TPACK stands for Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, and it is a conceptual model that combines three key areas; 1. Content Knowledge 2. Pedagogical Knowledge 3. Technological Knowledge The TPACK model is important in education because it provides a comprehensive framework for effectively integrating technology into teaching and learning. It guides curriculum development, supports innovative teaching methods, and enhances students engagement. the model also promotes reflective teaching and improves teacher professional development, helping educators prepare students for the future and achieve better learning outcomes. The SAMR model is a framework for evaluating and implementing technology in education. it provides a way for teachers to assess and reflect on how they are integrating technology into their teaching practices and how they can elevate their use of technology to enhance learning experiences. SAMR stands for; Substitution, Augmentation, Modification and Redefinition. SAMR model is important in education because it helps teachers integrate technology in a meaningful and progressive way. It provides a structured approach for evaluating technology use and encourages teachers to move from basic substitution to transformative practices.  ICT integration model- SAMR Model  Lesson plan no.1  Teacher name: Hema Maya Rai subject : Science   Topic: Waste Management  Class: V Time: 45 minutes Sydney Format Teaching learning materials: video link, images, menti meter, text book and google docs.   ICT model: SAMR model Previous knowledge: they have learned about ...

Middle level ICT integration

Middle level ICT integration. In todays class we were oriented on using PhET stimulation; PhET stimulation are interactive educational tools developed by the PhET interactive simulations project at the University of Colorado Boulder. These simulations are designed to help students explore and understand various scientific concepts through virtual experimentation. Further, PhET simulations enhances learning by providing an interactive, visually engaging and accessible platform for exploring scientific concepts.  PhET are often preferred over traditional methods because it provides several advantages; 1. Engagement- PhET simulations are interactive and visually engaging, which can capture student's attention and motivation them to explore concepts further.   2. Visualization- It provide dynamic visual representation of abstract concepts, making it easier for students to understand complex ideas that may be difficult to grasp through static diagrams.  3. Experimentati...
